  Large Capacity Leaf Trap

This large capacity leaf trap / strainer basket is used in place of a traditional pump strainer basket in applications where heavy debris is present, ie: conifer (pine needles) and live oak leaves. Dramatically decreases the frequency required for cleaning the leaf trap / strainer basket.

	Strainer Basket Media Disc Placing a pre-cut disc of coarse grade black Matala filter media on the top of the basket has the added benefit of straining out large and heavy debris. The 1 1/2" thick disc of black Matala aids in decreasing the intervals between servicing the strainer basket. The media sits neatly on the top of the broad flange of the basket. The surface of the Matala is just below the entrance port of the strainer basket. Works well as small pre filter. Fits both P3582 and P3583.
