TEFC refers to the motor design. It is a "drip proof" style designed for "exposed" installations. We continue to recommend installing these pumps in a dry "pumphouse"

Sequence 4000 series pumps have 2" ported suction and discharge. Do not gauge pipe size to be used on your system by this port size. Rather, use friction loss chart, total length of pipe and fittings used to determine pipe size.
